The recent works of Glasgow based painter Connie Liebschner explore her love of wild swimming in and around the West Coast of Scotland. The artworks vary in visual language depending on the senses she is aiming to describe. She uses a mixture of sketches, photographs, and written texts to inform both more figurative landscapes, along with more abstracted scenes. The paintings create a visual diary: a series of consequential images that provide a visual narrative of the rich and varied landscape.
