Art Technician Training - supporting employment in the arts and cultural sector in the Coventry area. Art technician training provided by Coventry University and delivered by ArtTechSpace. In partnership with the Herbert Art Gallery and Mead Gallery/Warwick Arts Centre
Art Technician Boot Camp is designed to support best practice in the presentation, handling and installation of artworks and artifacts in the gallery setting. The aim of this course is to provide a high standard of professional training to support employment in the arts and cultural sector. With Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture underway, the need for skilled art technicians is greater than ever.
The course is tailored towards aspiring and early-career technicians as well as those looking to upskill and reskill from other sectors, with advanced modules working towards paid placements within installation crews during September 2020. Limited capacity. To be eligible, applicants need to be living or working in the Coventry Warwickshire area.
